August Favourites

I love these posts because I think part of the fun in beauty blogging is finding new products and sharing with everyone how and when you wear them. I have been loving a few different products this month and thought I would share them :)

Revlon Lip Butters
My lips are very dry, its mainly to do with where I work and the heating being on all the time so there isn't as much moisture but I don't think the heatwave helped either. I hate it when you have cracked or peeling lips, go to apply a lipstick and it just sticks to all the dry bits. It looks unfinished. I already had one lip butter in Peach Parfait and I thought it was great so I went out and bought a couple of other bright colours(Candy Apple and Tutti Frutti) and I love them just as much if not more! There really light on the lips and don't feel sticky at all. Also, they're really pigmented so the colour is still very bold. My lips feel so moisturised when I use them, I'm going to invest a few more colours I think!
The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Body Butter
This is a lovely thick moisturiser that has a gorgeous rose scent and yet doesn't smell too chemically and isn't overbearing. Its pretty thick so I usually apply it just before I'm going to bed. I use this all over my body apart from my arms. It feels so luxurious to use, words can't describe how much I love it!

Garnier Moisture Match Mattifying Cream
I've heard a lot of hype about this product so when I picked it up I hoped it would really help with my shine prone skin. I apply this after cleansing my face in the morning before I put on any make. It absorbs really well and has a lovely fresh scent. Although it hasn't got rid of all my shine, its definitely helped so I would recommend this to anyone who has suffered with oily skin.
Rimmel Undercover Shadow Primer
I never used to wear a lot of eye shadow but since getting into beauty blogging and watching videos and tutorials on YouTube, I've become a lot more creative and adventurous with my eye make up. Although I still haven't ventured into the eye liner world! Anyway, I started to find the creases on my eyes would either stick or I would get more colour on one part of the lid and it just looked uneven. So I saw this eye shadow primer in boots and decided I would give it a shot. It comes out white in colour but once its blended into the skin its clear. I've been using this every time I apply makeup and its really helping, especially when I'm wearing quite a bold colour. I think it makes the eye make up look brighter, definitely a product to use!
Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz
I received this in a glossy box a couple of months ago and thought it wouldn't really be very useful for me as I hadn't planned on a holiday and I didn't think the UK would have much of a summer. But then of course everything changed with the weather (yay!). However come hot weather, makeup becomes so much harder to apply because my skin is much more oily. I came across this and although it's purpose is to refresh the face it can also help with setting make up. So when I'm getting my face ready, after I've finished I just squirt a bit of this over my face and I'm good to go!
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
I love this powder! I apply it over my foundation or BB cream and it really does do what it says on the tin! And it stays put for quite a while. I never used to like powder because I always thought it made you look caked in makeup and I quite like the dewy look, but when I started suffering with my oily skin I didn't really have a choice. I had seen a few other bloggers rave about this one so I thought I'd give it a go, and I'm definitely impressed!
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
My skin has been really oily this summer and I've found that I can't wear very heavy make up at all so this foundation has been a real life saver! Its light coverage, a small amount goes pretty far and the foundation blends into the skin lovely. The only downside is that there isn't a pump which is something I like to have when using foundation but it's still a very nice product to use.
B. Pure Micellar Water
I've heard of Micellar waters before but had never tried them so when I saw this gem in Superdrug I decided to pick it up. I'm quite lucky because although my skin is very oily, I don't tend to have many breakouts I was worried because a few people had told me that Micellar water caused them to have a breakout but I've been lucky. I use this in the evening, just put some onto a cotton wool pad and it takes off all my make up. It also tones the skin which is good, I don't like using too many products on my face.

Has anyone else been loving these products?
