V05 Plump It Up

Want big, volumous hair?! Then look no further! This is an amplifying blow dry lotion which is designed to add volume to the hair during he drying process. It also acts as a heat defence which is always a bonus with a hair product. The product claims to make hair feel and look thicker and healthy, calm frizz and static flyaways, and protect against any heat damage.

I spray this all over damp hair and then blow dry my hair upside down, as this is a good way of adding volume anyway. Once my hair is dry you can automatically see a difference. It feels lighter yet bouncier and has much more body to it than before. The spray is also very lightweight and doesn't leave a film or make the hair crispy at all.

I would say this spray is an absolute winner for me, it adds gorgeous amounts of bounce and volume and leaves the hair looking and feeling smooth. If you are a fan of big hair then this should definitely be on your shelf!

Has anyone else tried this product?

May Favourites

May has absolutely flown by for me! Is it just me who thinks time goes so fast when you're living on a monthly pay check?! Anyway, I haven't got many new favourites this month as I've been testing out some new products so haven't had a chance to commit to too many products. However I have a couple that I just keep reaching for...

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
This was my go-to foundation last summer as it sits so well on the skin when the weather is warmer and doesn't feel too heavy. I have been using this on nights out when I need my makeup to stay in place all night as it doesn't melt off. It is light coverage but my skin is in quite good condition at the minute so I can get away with using a lighter foundation.

The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Body Butter
This was in my first ever monthly favourites last year and I have been rediscovering it this month. The scent, for me, screams summer and its one of the lighter body butters that I have so absorbs really well into the skin. The only thing is I have nearly finished this tub so I'm hoping The Body Shop are still stocking this range!

Soap and Glory Mist You Body Mist
This is a fairly new purchase. As you may or may not know, I love the classic Soap & Glory scent and so when I discovered I could carry a bottle of it around with me all day for a sneaky fix of the good stuff, well, I pretty much jumped for joy. Ok I didn't, but you get my gist. The scent is quite strong initially however quickly tones down and, as it is a mist, is very light on the skin.

Collection Sheer Loose Powder
Another new product to my collection! I find Collection is a real hit and miss for me. I love their concealer (obvs) however I can't get to grips with their mascaras which have had rave reviews! I thought I would give their loose powder a go as I was after one and this was an absolute bargain so, if it didn't work for me then no worries, but I adore it and have been using it every single day. I lightly dust the powder over my t-zone, and also use it to set my concealer. It leaves a lovely airbrushed finished to the skin and is brilliant at keeping concealer in place.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream
Ok so I have clearly been loving my base makeup this month! This is a fairly new release from Bourjois and as soon a it hit shelves I went out and got it. With colour-correcting properties and a very thin consistency, I have been loving using this for daytime wear as it hardly feels like you've got makeup on, yet makes the skin look flawless. I know CC creams have come under criticism recently and many have refused to jump on the bandwagon but I would seriously recommend giving this a go, it feels so much like a foundation but without the heaviness. Such a technical review there.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 16
This lipsticks has always been one of my favourites as I think it is the perfect pink shade but this month I have been loving it lots and lots. Its perfect for both day and night wear, glides onto the lips like a dream due to its lovely creamy consistency and its staying power is fairly good aswell. I have been teaming this with a gloss at times too to add some extra shine.

Have you been loving any of these products? Please leave any monthly favourites links below, they're my favourite to read!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hour by Eye Studio

If you haven't heard of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo's then where on earth have you been?! They've been available in the UK for quite some time now, and I have pretty much most of, if not all, their collection.

They are essentially cream eye shadows but their pigmentation and staying power is amazing and I have yet to find any better! They apply like a dream and can be used alongside other eye shadows, powdered or otherwise, on their own or as a base. The darker shades work brilliantly at creating a long-lasting smoky eye.

Light In Purple
This shade is completely different to the rest of the collection as it is very cool-toned and also has a slight effervescent effect to it. The shade is slightly purple-esque and works perfectly as a base for a smoky eye, or paired with a subtle eye shadow. I don't think this shade works very well on its own as it is very bright and eye catching but it is still lovely.

Pink Gold
This shade is perfect for daytime wear, epically during the spring. It is a metallic, pastel pink and works great on its own. I sometimes use it with Metallic Pomegranate too as these work really well together.

Permanent Taupe
This is my favourite out of the collection and is the only matte shade I have. As the name suggests, this a dark, brown taupe shade. I usually wear this shade on its own or with a highlighter just in the inner corners. Although this is quite subtle initially on the lids, with enough build up and coverage, it can create a lovely yet striking look which I love.

On and On Bronze
This shade is the perfect bronze shade and is perfect when creating a warm-neutral based smoky eye effect as it is a perfect all-over shade and blends well with so many other neutrals.

Metallic Pomegranate
This is a dark purple shade and has gold glitter particles in it which, although doesn't sound like it works, actually gives off quite a good effect. I don't tend to wear this on its own as it is quite dark however looks beautiful teamed with either Pink Gold or another lighter eye shadow.

Eternal Gold
This is my least favourite from the collection and is the one I wear the least. I think this is probably because it is very shimmery, however now the summer is coming it could look lovely just gently swiped over the lids to create a shimmery sun kissed look.

Have you tried any of these, or any other shades? I would love to know as I highly rate these and they are one of my favourite products in my makeup collection.

The Blogger Made Me Buy It-LLYMLRS

Lily Melrose from LLYMLRS was, in fact, the first blog I discovered. She has an edgy, cool vibe to her blog and is a wise owl when it comes to beauty products and how to use them. I regularly check Lily's blog and YouTube channel for updates and new videos as I really trust her opinion on beauty and her reviews always seem fair and honest. A lot of the products reviewed on LLYMLRS are high end however she has mentioned her love for drugstore lipsticks and nail polishes.

After watching a haul where she spoke about her love for this lipstick I wanted to try it out. Beehive is a nude, glossy finish lipstick and as Seventeen isn't the most pricey of brands, its a real bargain! This lipstick is perfect for everyday wear and can add a bit of *something* to a simple makeup look. Whilst it isn't the most long lasting lipstick, it is very pretty and wearable. So thank you Lily for introducing this lovely lipstick to my collection, it is now one of my staples and something I religiously reach for!

Are you a fan of LLYMLRS? Have you tried this lipstick? I would love to know your thoughts!

The Beauty Show UK Haul

So recently I attended The Beauty and Hair UK show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. The show was full of well known and not so well known brands displaying the products they had to offer. Some of the well known brands there included Elemis, Lauren's Way, NYX, Sienna X and Monu, aswell as lots of new and upcoming brands. Some of the stands offered trials of the products they were showcasing including eyelash extensions, gel nails and teeth whitening at reduced rates, and free spray tans and workout equipment to try. I had a great day and picked up some great products to try which I thought I would show you.

W7 10 out of 10 Browns Eye Shadow Palette
This is a palette of 10 neutral shades ranging from light to dark. They are a mix of both matte and shimmer eye shadows, and can be used for everyday use, to create defined contour, or to create a smoky eye effect. I haven't' tried this out yet but it was only £5 so was an absolute bargain!

Kco Makeup Brush
On the stand this brush was being used to apply all sorts of different make up including liquid foundation and powder. It is very similar to the Real Techniques Stippling brush however feels much more dense so could be ideal for applying liquid foundation or blending in concealer.

Pink Essentials Medium Eye Shader and Brush Essentials Contour Powder Brush
This were both on a stand full of all sorts of different makeup brushes at absolute budget prices! I picked up both of these for £5 and I'm really excited to try them out, especially the contour brush as it is very different to my current one.

Glam Lac Professional Lacquer in Sea Lover and Naturally Cute
I fell in love with these shades, particularly Naturally Cute as it seems like the perfect nude shade for me which is great for when I'm at work. Sea Lover reminds me of Greenberry by Barry M but isn't quite as bright however I think this will look lovely in the summer with (hopefully) a bit of a tan.

Cuccio Naturale Butter in Vanilla Bean and Sugar
This was another stand that had loads of products on offer with lots of different scents. I tried a bit of the butter they had on the stand and it feels so thick and moisturising so I opted for the smaller tub and might use it on my feet as they are in desperate need of some TLC.

SuperCover Professional Makeup Eye Pencils in Raspberry, Ocean and Brandy
These were probably my bargain of the day-all three for just £5! I know, I couldn't believe it either. I swatched the pencils at the stand and they seem really pigmented and, even though I washed my hands several times, the swatches hardly budged so I'm hoping they will last just as long on the eyes. They also had so many different shades to choose from but I thought I would go for these as they are probably more wearable.

ArtDeco Eyeshadow in 250
Ok so this eye shadow is absolutely tiny but the pigmentation of it is absolutely amazing! I fell in love with the colour as it reminds me of the Mac Pigment in Golden Olive which I have been trying to get hold of for sometime so you can imagine my excitement when this appeared in front of me. I cant wait to use it!

NYX Blush in Bourgeois Pig
So NYX is obviously a brand many will know however they aren't as readily available in the UK but they have started selling it in some Next stores. Anyway, this was the stand I wanted to see the most as I love the NYX products I already have and I was desperate to try their blushes. They have a lovely selection of shades and this one seems unlike any of my other blushes. Plus it was cheaper than buying it in Next!

NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie
This is another NYX product I really wanted to try and, again, it was cheaper than in stores. I did a little swatch in stores and the gloss seems so creamy and well pigmented. I was a bit stuck for choice as although there was a wide selection, they had run out of quite a few. I picked up this pale pink shade as I think it will be perfect for during the day in the summer.

Did you attend The Beauty Show?

Healthy Living Diaries #2 - Planning Ahead

So in a bid to stay motivated with my weight loss journey/getting healthy, I am running a series in which I share my tips, experience, routines, ideas, pretty much everything to do with the above. This week I thought I would talk about planning ahead as this is quite often the key component for maintaining a successful weight loss/diet journey.

I work different shifts in my job and no two weeks are the same for me so planning ahead is extremely important in order for me to stay focused. As part of my new diet I have actually written down my meal plans in order for me to put thought into what I'm eating and to make my plan easily accessible. Plus I find actually putting pen to paper and writing a plan very satisfying. Strange, I know.

I have divided the plan so that the columns are each day, and then the rows are the different foods I will eat. I have made some of the snacks optional, especially on a day when I'm eating a heavier meal. I have also drawn up a list of all the meal and snack ideas that I can pick from.

In each plan, I have tried to make the foods I eat that week fairly consistent, purely to keep within my weekly finance budget. Also, there is no point buying fresh salad goods for just one meal, if I make a job lot I can then have salad over several days. By creating these plans I have also been able to think about the types of foods I will be eating i.e. if I am having toast for breakfast then I will try not to have bread for the rest of the day.

I would be being a bit silly by saying that I intend to stick to these plans completely as other things pop up such as meals out etc. but I have been trying my best and so far it seems to be working! Also, when I do go out for a meal I try to pick foods I know are better for my diet such as swapping chips for a jacket potato or ordering lean cuts of meat rather than a burger or sausages etc.  I have really enjoyed creating these plans and sticking to them has been easier than I thought, and it has helped me stick to my weekly budget as I'm not buying foods that I don't need.

Has anyone else created meal plans? I would love to see any other similar posts/blogs! Send your links.

Empties #4

So here are just a few products that I have used up over the last couple of months.

Nivea In Shower Moisturiser
I love these! You apply them after using shower gel and then wash off. It doesn't have quite the same effect as using a thick moisturiser after the shower as obviously that has more time to absorb into the skin, but if you're in a rush or, like me, like the quick and easy approach then these are definitely for you! I will absolutely be repurchasing this.

Clean and Clear Morning Energy Facial Scrub
This product has lasted me ages. I use it a couple of times a week just to refresh my face and give the skin a light exfoliate. This wash has a very strong citrus scent which I love but just be warned it is very strong and sometimes slightly over bearing. Whilst I haven't noticed a huge difference in the appearance of my skin after using this, it definitely makes the skin feel more fresh and wakes me up on those dull early mornings. I've got a few other facial exfoliaters to try but I would definitely consider this in the future.

Tresemme Deep Cleanse Shampoo
I mentioned this in my last favourites post (see here) and I'm gutted that I've finished it, although due to the size of the bottle it has lasted me an age! It gives the hair such a deep clean however doesn't feel to heavy on the hair and is easy to wash out too. I have been using this every time I wash my hair for the last month and my hair has felt in excellent condition. I haven't seen this in stores since I purchased it but I will definitely keep am eye out for it!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Light & Blonde
I seem to be getting through a lot of dry shampoo at the moment, I recently started increasing the time between washing my hair so instead of washing it every 2 days, I now wait every 3 days, so ive been using dry shampoo on that last day just to soak up some of that unwanted grease that tends to hag around. Batiste is my preferred brand for dry shampoo s I usually go for that when in Boots or Superdrug.

No 7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream
This little pot of beauty has lasted me ages. What I have loved about using this is how luxurious it feels on the skin. Its very light and silky but I wake upthe next morning with super soft skin. Also, this night cream is designed for oily skin so it has hydrated my skin without giving it too much unwanted shine. I will definitely repurchase this.

Soap & Glory Righteous Butter Mini
My favourite S&G product, I love everything about this! The scent is gorgeous, the texture is creamy and rich, and it leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and soft. I already have a full size version of this waiting to be opened!

Spring/Summer Beauty Wishlist

So its that time again when the season's change and all the brands let lease their latest creations. I haven't got that many products that I want to try but I thought I would show you just a little collection...

Most of these products I have seen mentioned on lots of other blogs and on YouTube videos, in particularly the Zoeva brushes and the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot powder.

Although I love my Real Techniques brushes, I feel I need to branch out a bit so I am either going to try the Barry M line (the cheaper alternative) or just try a couple of the Zoeva brushes as they do look beautiful aswell (rose gold mmm).

The Revlon Shadowlinks are something I have had my eye on ever since they hit the press, I just really love the idea of them and the shade range looks great! Something else I love the idea of are the Makeup Revolution Eye Dusts which look very similar to the MAC pigments. Although the pink shade featured above is the not the colour I would go for, they do have a fab range of shades and I have heard great reviews about them and the brand itself.

Something yet to hit the shelves but is already on my wishlist are The Body Shop sorbets. I think they will be lovely products, and the fact that you can put them in the fridge before application is really cool (excuse the pun) and will be perfect for smmer. Another new release is the Benefit Big Easy which is claimed to be a 'Bigger than BB Cream'. There has been a lot of positive reviews on this little gem so I am intrigued to try it out and, again, think this will be a perfect base product for the summer.

Two products on here that aren't necessarily new releases are the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot powder, and the L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara. I want to try the S&G powder because of its excellent reviews in the blogging world, and I have only just discovered their cosmetics range and this seems to be one of their key products! I have been after a new mascara for a little while, whilst I am loyal to the Maybelline mascaras, I feel I want to branch out a bit and this one seems a bit different to any others.

Finally, I have to add the Tanya Burr Lips & Nails line as these have been coveted highly by the fab YouTuber herself and many other beauty bloggers! They seem to be very highly pigmented and the shade range is lovely.

Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Super Balm

I have had this in my stash for a few months now and it has sat there with very little use to me, so I have found it hard to properly review. However the last few weeks have seen me discover the great properties that this 'super' balm carries.

The balm contains coconut oil, Shea butter and avocado oil. The balm also contains vitamin E which works to protect the skin against environmental damage and improves the skin's suppleness. The balm can be used on nails, cuticles, lips and for dry, flaky skin. The balm is very solid to begin with however soon softens on human touch.

Over the last few months I have had a small patch of dry skin on my face that I have really struggled with. My makeup has been clinging to it and the skin has broken on several occasions causing it to scab, not a great look! After watching a few skin care videos, I noticed this pop up a few times so thought I had nothing to lose as it was already in my stash. I apply a small amount of this to the area and very gently rub into the skin so it absorbs. I have been using tis for about 2 weeks and the dry patch has practically gone, it has helped so much! I have also been using this on my cuticles as they are constantly breaking and it definitely seems to be helping to improve their condition.

Has anyone else tried this balm? Or anything else from the brand?

Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisturising Balm in Juicy Peach

This is the first cosmetic product I have tried from Soap & Glory. I love their skin care range as the quality is great, the scents are amazing (better than a lot of other drugstore brands) and they do such a good job! I use their Clean On Me shower gel on a daily basis, its my absolute favourite shower companion!

Ok, so I think you get, I love Soap & Glory, and this product has just increased my love for them.

A Great Kisser is a brilliant lip balm. It keeps my lips moisturised for ages after application and doesn't dry my lips out. The scent is lovely and refreshing, a very strong peach scent. My only negative about this lip balm is it is extremely sticky, and doesn't absorb very quickly so lips can remain very sticky for quite a while after application but I can forgive that little hiccup.

This has very quickly become my number one lip balm (closely followed by Baby Lips) as it has done a brilliant job at saving my horrendously dry lips! I would highly recommend this product (there is range of scents if peach isn't your thing) to anyone who, like me, suffers with dry and chapped lips and has been struggling to find a product to help them.

Has anyone else tried this beauty?

L'Oreal Absolute Makeup Remover Eye & Lip

In my skin care routine I have two different eye make up removers that I use; one for everyday eye make up and one for heavy eye make up. I use the Simple Kind To Skin eye makeup remover for everyday makeup however I am always chopping and changing the makeup remover I use for heavy eye make up.

After seeing this product pop up on a few blogs I decided to give it a go. It has been named as a dupe for the Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover so I thought it must be worth the hype. The eye makeup remover is divided into two parts-blue and clear. The blue part is oil based which dissolves eye make up including waterproof, whereas the clear part is a lotion to soothe eyes and leave them feeling oil-free and fresh. The idea is that before using on a cotton wool pad, you mix the two solutions together by shaking the bottle, then apply to a cotton wool pad and use to remove eye makeup.

I have a few criticisms with this product unfortunately. First, the packaging is really unpractical and sometimes I end up pouring way to much of the solution out of the bottle because of its square shape, a lot of the remover is released and this can be extremely annoying. Secondly, I find that although I mix the solution in the bottle, it very quickly separates once on the cotton wool pad, whether it is supposed to do this I'm not sure but I've never known a two-part remover to do this. My final criticism is that although this product claims to be non-greasy I have found that it is very much the opposite! After using this to remove my eye make up, I am left with an oily film over the skin around my eyes, not ideal!

So unfortunately although this product does the job of removing the makeup, due to packaging faults and being overly greasy, I just can't get on with it. This is really disappointing because I've never tried the Clarins version so was quite looking forward to using this but I have just been left disappointed.

Has anyone else had similar problems? I would love to hear your recommendations for other eye makeup removers.

May Beauty Haul

Ok so not exactly a humongous haul, however I did stop by Boots and picked up a few things, plus they had 3 for 2 on makeup so how could I resist?!

Maybelline Colour 24 hour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe
I love these so much and I have been searching for this shade everywhere for months, anytime I go to Boots it seems to be out of stock. Until this time! This a beautiful matte-finish, grey-like taupe shade, eye shadow cream. This looks great on its own or teamed with other eye shadows. I might do a post on my Colour Tattoo collection, I have quite a few now!

Rimmel Eye Definer
This item intrigued me, I haven't had a try yet but I assume you use it the same way as an eye liner? I will report back!

Tea Tree Witch Hazel Exfoliating Face Scrub
I love this brand, their products never seem to disappoint me! I already have their blemish stick (see review here) and their peel off mask and both are amazing so I have high hopes for this face scrub!

L'Oreal Smoky Palette in Nude Lingerie
I saw this on A Model Recommends and my first thoughts were how beautiful the shades are! I've never tried any eye shadows from L'Oreal so I'm looking forward to trying it!

Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Make Up Remover & Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Makeup Remover
I have been after a couple of new eye make up removers recently however my eyes have become extremely irritated with it being hayfever season so I needed one from a brand I trust and one that is gentle. Both of these cover that, I have tried the Nivea one before but the Garnier one is a new release so I'm looking forward to giving that a go!

Have you tried any of these products? I would love to know your thoughts!

The Blogger Made Me Buy It-ZOELLA

As a beauty blogger and lover, I love discovering new blogs and their favourite products. I am easily influenced by my favourite bloggers ad I trust their opinions of the products they review. If one of my favourite bloggers raves about a product, then it is more the likely that I will later purchase that product. So I thought I would do a new series about the products I have bought under the influence of beauty bloggers and vloggers.

This post I am going to show you the products I have bought after hearing probably the most famous beauty blogger talk about them. That, of course, is Zoe Sugg aka Zoella. I was quite late to the party when I discovered Zoella, I had heard other beauty bloggers talk about her so decided to give her channel a view. It is very hard not to like Zoe and her amazing videos, she seems like such a down to earth and laid back person, and someone you would struggle not to get on with.

After watching a few hauls and favourite videos, I had heard Zoe mention the same two products over and over again, and I knew I had to give them a try.

The first is the Rimmel by Kate Moss 107 lipstick. It is a deep blue-toned red and is very bold and striking on the lips. Zoe often wears a bright lip in her videos, and not only had I seen her wear this but she had mentioned often that this was one of her favourite lipsticks. And I can totally see why! The lipstick has a matte finish but is anything but drying on the lips and applies like a dream due to its lovely creamy consistency. Because of the shade, the lipstick does last a while and needs minimal touch ups. This has become one of my favourites and when I want a classic fail-safe makeup look then I quickly reach for this shade.

The second product(s) are the Sleek blushes. Before watching Zoella, I had never even heard of Sleek however when she compared their blushes to those from Nars and spoke about their high pigmentation then I wanted to check them out. The first shade I bought was Rose Gold which, as the name suggests, is a rose blush with gold shimmer particles that can double up for a highlighter aswell. Its a beautiful blush and I wear it almost daily. The second shade I bought was Life's A Peach which is slightly more subtle than rose gold and is a gorgeous peach shade which adds a great pop of colour to the cheeks and is perfect for sunny spring days. Zoe was absolutely right about how great these blushes are, super pigmented and look beautiful on the skin.

I'm so happy with both of these products and their purchase was mainly due to Zoella's videos, so thank you to her for that! Are you a Zoella fan? Have you tried any of these products?

Top 5 Hair Products

This was actually really hard to compile! I don't use a lot of products on my hair all at once however I do own a lot of hair products that I use at different times and for different reasons.

Toni & Guy Classic Shine Serum
This is a recent discovery of mine, you can see my review here if you are interested. I suffer from frizzy hair, especially if I don't have time to blow dry my hair properly. I apply a small amount of this serum to the mid lengths and ends of my hair and it is instantly smooth, and the following day is still beautifully smooth and frizz free.

Schwarzkopf Got2b Beach Matte Texturizing Salt Spray
This product I tend to use during the warmer months, particularly if I don't want to use too much heat on my hair. I spray this to the ends and mid lengths of my hair, and then 'scrunch' my hair at the same time. The results are lovely, beach-like waves that look natural and take all of two seconds to create. This is the perfect product if you are in a rush and need a quick fix. It can leave the hair a little dry and crispy so I tend to use this on the day before I need to wash it.

John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioning Mask
I actually mean hair masks in general here, although this one is definitely one of my faves. I usually use hair masks when I'm in the shower; I apply them to the midlengths and ends of my hair, leave for 5 miutes and then rinse off. I do notice a big difference in the condition of my hair when I use a hair mask, my hair is incredibly soft and silky and stays in great condition until my next wash. I usually wash my hair every 3 days, and I try to use a hair mask once a week so my hair gets a throrough condition. Another favourite mask of mine is the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration mask.

L'Oreal Elnett Satin Heat Styling Spray
These sprays are great. They come in three types depending on the style you are after: volume, straight and waves. I actually have all three and I can definitey tell the difference between the three of them, particularly the one for straight hair. I apply this to damp hair before blowdrying, or on dry hair before using a heat styling appliance such as a curling wand or straighteners. Not only are these sprays great at creating volume for the hair, they also leave the hair frizz free and in wonderful condition and are heat defensive! I also really love the smell of these aswell as it reminds me of a hair salon.

Wella Oil Reflections
Probably my favourite hair product, I absolutely love this! I have done a review that you can see here, but in brief this is a hair oil that I apply to the midlengths and ends of my hair after washing when still damp. The smell of the stuff is ah-mazing, but it also leaves my hair feeling so beautiful. Since using this I have received so many compliments on my hair and my hair has grown like a weed.

I probably could have added another 5 products to this list, it was so hard to narrow it down! However, please let me know if you have used any of these products or have any recommendations for me!

April Non Beauty Favourites

Denim Jacket
In the middle of April, around the Bank Holiday's, we actually had some semi decent weather, so, of course, out comes my summer wardrobe! I think a denim jacket is a staple item for a summer wardrobe, you can literally wear it with everything (maybe not jeans though if you're not a fan of the double denim look #dodge). I've been loving teaming my Primark denim jacket with dresses, leggings and skirts, it makes any outfit ready for summer.

#supergorgeousapril
I have never done a photo challenge on Instagram but I really liked the look of this one so I thought I would give it a go. I did all the photos up to day 18, the only reason I stopped was because life got in the way a bit. I loved trying to think of photos to take to fit the title, I might look out for more photo challenges to do, its nice seeing what others have posted for it aswell. See my A Month In Instagram post or follow me on Instagram to have a look at my photos.

Greek Yoghurt
As part of my Healthy Living Diaries, I have been trying to make sure I eat breakfast every day. I like cereal but sometimes I don't feel like eating a bowl as it makes me feel quite full, so I have been opting most days for Greek yoghurt teamed with some clear honey. Its very light and doesn't taste too sweet but you can change that depending on the amount of honey you use. Its also a low-calorie option and full of protein which is great if you're looking to watch what you et or lose weight.

I Heart New York
I haven't read a book in yonks, I find I literally don't have the time to sit down with a book however I decided I would try to make the effort to get through a book this month and picked this one. I have heard great reviews about it from other bloggers aswell as a couple of friends. I have really liked this book, I have found it easy to follow and is a nice light read. It follows a 20-something girl's new start in New York after a horrendous breakup, where she meets lots of new people and gets a dream job. If you like light chick-flick reads then I would definitely give this a go.

Made In Chelsea
The return of one of my favourite programmes graced my television screen this month! I love Made In Chelsea for a few reasons. I'm a right nosy parker so being able to nose into others lives is a pretty cool idea for me, plus their lives are completely different to mine or anyone that I know. I get so caught up in the programme that when I catch up with a few friends who are also fans, I find we talk about the programme like we know all the characters personally. Its a highly addictive show but one I would fully recommend!
